MY PILATES JOURNEY
began over a decade ago after trying out group mat and reformer classes. I felt an immediate connection to my core during the workouts and eventually I developed an awareness of my movements. As someone who has lived life with mild Scoliosis, Pilates offered the opportunity to develop flexibility in my spine and legs. I completed my 600-hour comprehensive training at Power Pilates in NYC where I learned to teach classical Pilates using apparatus such as the Cadillac, the Wunda Chair, the Ladder Barrel and more. Improve strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance. Clients correct their posture and develop strength through classical Pilates classes taught on the mat and reformer, or on apparatus including a Cadillac/Wall Tower, Barrels, High Chair, Wunda Chair, and Ped-o-Pull.
Some might leave their practice at the studio. But my passion comes home with me. I’ve created a home Pilates studio with a wall tower/raised mat, a reformer, barrels, and a Wunda Chair for daily self-practice.
